Hello! I am revo hunting at the moment. I am conducting a survey as to which revo variant would be the best option for me. Is it the SR, VX200 etc...manual or automatic transmission? Considering manila driving condition, mostly EDSA route. Appreciate also if you could let me know of someone selling his/her revo. Thank you!

Thank you! sir, this is not to discourage you...we love our Revos...but reality is malakas sa gas ang Revo..in fact some members have converted their units to LPG consumption na ... average of 5-7 kms/liter lang po sa city driving...mga 10-12 kms/liter long drive... but if gas budget is not a problem for you...go for vx200 (Or vx240D) this is the top of the line of Revos...it goes with pormas ang all...with side step boards, roof rail and body cladding and with lcd monitors on headrest for the back passengers.... if you could find an LXV, limited editions naman to ng REvos and also the J variants...may pros and cons sa maintenance ang gas and matic and also sa gas consumption...but with the traffic conditions in metro manila, i suggest you go for the matic....but again, it is malakas sa gas....good luck po sa paghahanap...

hi, everyone! i'm a newbie here too. it's my very first post. hope to learn a lot of stuffs from you and hope to see you in the coming EB's.
nway, i need some inputs/suggestions right now. i'm planning this weekend to have my revo (1.8L gas, A/T) for a change-oil and tune-up. the km reading is around 35K already. i'm working on a certain budget. when i've the revo checked at bosch center in p'que, i need to replace also the belts (aircon, alternator, power steering), air filter, and fuel filter. i went to this shop in alabang called alabang parts center. i made some canvass on parts price's.
replacement parts original toyota parts air filter P 300 P 980 fuel filter P 350 P 1,600 alternator belt P 200 P 450 aircon belt P 200 P 650 power steering belt P 200 P 480
for a change, i'll have my change-oil and tune-up done outside the casa (toyoyta alabang). i'm planning to have it done at shell-sucat service center near sta. rita college. with the prices above, i'll get the original parts of the 3 belts and use for the mean time replacement parts for the air filter and fuel filter.
question. . suggestions. . inputs. .
re: it's my first time to use other brand aside from the oil that toyota uses. i've been fully syn ever since the unit was bought. since my budget is kind of tight, i'll try semi-syn for the time being. i'm planning to use shell helix-plus. any experiences with this brand of oil? what other brand can you recommend?
re: with the items listed above with the price list, is it okay to use replacement parts for the next 3 months on air filter or fuel filter? are the prices just right? or do you suggest i use original parts first on the filters and use replacement parts instead on the belts for the next 3 months?
any shops that you also recommend here in p'que, las pinas, or alabang area where i can have my revo done? i would appreciate suggestions, inputs. . thanks! ! !

Also A newbie here. Signed up to find any solutions to some problems I am encountering with the Revo I am now using. I have a Revo GLX model. Pretty much well maintained by the company and its always casa maintained. Until it was assigned to me. Ina nut shell I am a gear head, most probably I was born by my mom with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver on both hands. I maintain the vehicle now. It surprises me to see the bosses are all smiles, since I saved them tons of money. Instead of taking it to the service center, I usually do the job. Until I encountered some stuff that really perplexed me. I dont want to post my inquiries here as it is an un-apropriate thread. I will try browsing at the tech thread and see if its already discussed. If not, I may need the "experts" advise. Where to get it but at a fan based car club right?
